Local Classes

Meet with us in a classroom setting as we learn the foundations of writing. My goal is to load up your child’s writing toolbox to use in any writing situation! Classes are in Gilroy, California.

All Things Fun & Fascinating

For the younger students (or students who struggle with writing), I will be teaching through IEW’s All Things Fun and Fascinating. This two-semester class will go at a much gentler pace than the U.S. History class. In ATFF, we will learn the structure and style of the IEW curriculum while we learn about some fascinating things, people, and creatures of our world. This will be a fun, low-pressure introduction to writing. No IEW experience necessary.

This class is geared for younger students, grades 4-6, or for struggling writers.

Class Dates: Tuesdays, starting August 27th, 2018
Time: 11:00 AM, PST
Tuition: $240 fall semester; $265 spring semester (payable separately)
Requirements: No IEW experience necessary. Students should be able to access a computer and printer weekly.
Materials are available for purchase from IEW here

Medieval History Themed Writing Class Level B

Students who sign up for the Medieval History-themed classes are committing to two semesters, fall and spring.

Knights, Vikings, kings, and other famous figures of the Middle Ages come to life as students learn to write with structure and style. The lessons acquaint young learners with Charlemagne, the Vikings, knighthood, geniuses of the Renaissance, and more!

This class is geared for students grades 6-9. No IEW experience is necessary.

Seats are limited. Students are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
